BIO

 

I am Barton Corley.

I am a storyteller, a copywriter, and a creative director. 

I have decades of experience in advertising creativity. Seven of those years were in Japan, working and living in a second language and a different culture. 

I have written for and lead teams on behalf of some of the most famous brands in the world. Apple. Samsung. Nike. Whole Foods. Corona.

I have had the good fortune to be involved in some great moments for advertising and culture, from the first "Hello, I'm a Mac," to the first NSFW campaign starring a train wreck of a spokesman, to the first Spanish language tagline for a MEXICAN BRAND’S general market campaign.

My work has been recognized at Cannes, D&AD, THE ONE SHOW and elsewhere. But, To make work that culture echoes back, whether it's imitated or parodied or very simply shared online, is my goal. 

It’s all about creating reactionS that go beyond transactions.

OUtside of advertising, YOU’LL FIND ME outside – Hiking, camping, overlanding in my jeep, OBSESSING OVER bushplanes, and dreaming about THE NEXT ADVENTURE.
